The main objective of this trek was to strengthen relationship among the members and promote internal tourism and Rotaract in that region. #visitnepal2020
This project helped to strengthen relation among the members, promote internal tourism as well as promoting rotaract in that region. The trekkers were also interviewed by a local news reporter where they promoted rotaract and the trekkers were provided information about the peak by the reporter. The reporter also promised us to write an article on our trek since this was the largest group that reached there till date.
Rotaract Club of Bhaktapur has been doing this fellowship trek for past few years to strengthen relationship among the members. This year too the club decided to trek. The club decided to go to Pikey Peak (4065) for trek. This was a short trek of 4 days where all 29 trekkers of which 19 were rotaractors and 10 non-rotaractors, stepped at the top of the Pikey Peak. According to the locals, this was the largest group to summit this peak till date. After this trek, some non-rotaractors who joined this trek were inspired by the behaviour of rotaractors and committed to join rotaract. A small steps towards "The world need more Rotaractors".
